Jeju Olle Trail Course 10, which starts from Hwasun Geummorae Beach and continues to Hamo Sports Park, is considered one of the most beautiful coastal routes in the southwestern sea of Jeju. Along the way, you can see various seaside sceneries such as Hwanguchi Beach, Hamo Beach, and Sagye Fishing Village. This trail also offers views of various mountains in Jeju, including Hallasan, Sanbangsan, and Songaksan. On clear days, you can even see Marado and Gapado, other islands of Jeju, making it a path that truly captures the essence of Jeju Island. The total length is 15.6㎞, and it takes about 5 to 6 hours to complete.

The starting point, Hwasun Geummorae Beach, is a small but beautiful spot. The sand is soft, and the water depth is gentle, making it ideal for children to enjoy swimming. From the sea side, you can see Hyeongje Island in the distance, and from the inland side, Sanbangsan Mountain offers a breathtaking view. There is also an outdoor swimming pool that uses spring water.

Walking about 2㎞ along the coast from Hwasun Geummorae Beach, you will reach Hwanguchi Beach and Sanbangsan Mountain. Sanbangsan is a bell-shaped lava formation created about 800,000 years ago. It stands prominently from anywhere in the southwestern part of Jeju. According to legend, the circumference of Sanbangsan and the circumference below Baengnokdam are similar, leading to the story that a peak of Hallasan was entirely pulled out to form Sanbangsan, and the place where it was pulled out became Baengnokdam. There is also a legend that Seolmundaehalmang, who is said to have created Jeju Island, found it uncomfortable to sit on Hallasan’s peak and pulled it out, forming Sanbangsan. Another legend tells that a hunter’s arrow missed and hit the Jade Emperor’s buttocks, causing the Jade Emperor to pull out the peak.

Hwanguchi Beach, located between Sanbangsan and the seaside, features a vast black sand beach of about 160,000㎡, harmonizing with Yongmeori Coast, rocky cliffs, and Sanbangsan. Thanks to its beautiful scenery, it is often used as a backdrop in idol music videos and dramas, such as Oh My Girl’s "Dun Dun Dance" and NewJeans’ "Bubble Gum."

Continuing through Sagye-ri, you will reach Songaksan Mountain. It is a mountain formed by a triple crater created by three volcanic eruptions. Covered with pine trees, it is named Songaksan. It is also called Jeoreul-i Oreum, meaning "the hill where the waves cry out." This area was used as a military stronghold by the Japanese during the colonial period, including the Altteureu Airfield, which was built as a forward base for continental invasion. The caves made by the Japanese army are still visible along the coastal cliffs, making this place a site where the pains of modern history are still felt. After passing Seotal Oreum and Hamo Beach, the trail ends at Hamo Sports Park.
