The Korean Bar Association (KBA) has decided to conduct an ex officio investigation into a lawyer suspected of leaking YouTuber Tzuyang's past to YouTuber Gujaeyeok.
On the 19th, the KBA decided to initiate an ex officio investigation into Mr. A, who was the lawyer for Tzuyang's ex-boyfriend. The KBA stated, "A third-party report requesting an investigation into Mr. A was received by the association on the 18th."
On the previous day, Tzuyang claimed on her YouTube broadcast, "The person who reported my past and false information to Gujaeyeok was the lawyer who represented the former agency's CEO."
Earlier, Tzuyang revealed that she had been subjected to continuous violence and threats for four years by her ex-boyfriend and former agency CEO, Mr. B. She filed a complaint against him for charges including sexual assault, habitual assault, habitual threats, habitual injury, and extortion. However, the case was closed due to lack of prosecution rights after Mr. B passed away during the investigation.
Kim Taeyeon, a lawyer from Taeyeon Law Office and Tzuyang's legal representative, stated, "The lawyer abandoned the minimum ethics and threatened Tzuyang using information from a former client," adding, "Since he was the lawyer for the former agency CEO, he must have heard various false facts about Tzuyang from Mr. B and reported such information to Gujaeyeok."
