On the 19th, Samsung Electronics announced that the domestic pre-order volume for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 from the 12th to the previous day, a period of one week, was tallied as such.

This result falls short of the previous model, the 'Galaxy Z Fold·Flip5,' which recorded the highest pre-orders ever at 1.02 million units.

However, Samsung Electronics expects sales to increase at the official launch, as consumer visits continue at major stores nationwide.

The purchase share of the MZ generation rose to over 50%, up from 43% last year. In the case of the Z Fold6, it received high evaluations from people in their 20s and 30s due to its weight being 14g lighter than its predecessor and its thickness reduced to 12.1mm.

The Z Flip6 saw improvements in its previously criticized rear camera, upgraded to 50 million pixels, and its battery capacity increased to 4000mAH, which was considered a key factor.

The pre-order share of the Z Fold6 increased by about 10% compared to the previous model. The pre-order ratio between the Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 was 40 to 60, whereas it was 30 to 70 for the previous generation.

For colors, both products saw high popularity for Silver Shadow. In the case of the Z Fold6, Silver Shadow accounted for about 45% of sales, followed by Navy and Pink in order of sales volume.

For the Z Flip6, Silver Shadow's sales share was about 35%, followed by Blue, Mint, and Yellow in that order.
