The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is set to pilot 63 "ACE (A·C·E) Focus High Schools" ahead of the full implementation of the "2022 Revised Curriculum."
This curriculum will be applied to all high schools nationwide starting next year and includes expanding students' options for subject selection.
Gyeonggi ACE Focus High Schools refer to schools that strive for ▲ Academic ability for All ▲ Customized Curriculum ▲ Experience as a leading implementation of the 2022 Revised Curriculum.
These high schools will develop and operate one or two models among school-led activity time management, semester-based curriculum design, and career-linked educational activities.
The Provincial Office of Education plans to form a separate policy implementation team to support schools and will conduct consulting and monitoring based on the application of these models.
