SKT "Galaxy Z Fold6 Pre-Orders Half Taken by Male Customers in Their 30s and 40s"

Samsung Electronics' new foldable phone Galaxy Z Fold6 is preferred by male customers in their 30s and 40s, while the Galaxy Z Flip6 is favored by female customers in their 30s.

SK Telecom announced that pre-activation of the Z Fold6 and Flip6 will begin on the 19th. This pre-activation is for customers who made pre-orders starting from the 12th.

According to the pre-order results from SKT's official online mall T Direct Shop, customers in their 30s accounted for 35% of all pre-order subscribers, showing the highest proportion.

By device, about 50% of all pre-order purchasers of the Z Fold6 were male customers in their 30s and 40s. For the Z Flip6, female customers in their 30s made up the largest share at 27%.

By color, the Z Fold6 was most popular in Silver Shadow, Navy, and Pink, while the Z Flip6 was favored in Blue, Silver Shadow, Mint, and Yellow, in that order.

Customers activating the Z Fold6 and Flip6 can enjoy various benefits through six promotions prepared by SKT. These include round-trip airline tickets (total of 120 people) to visit locations such as Paris, France, and Madrid, Spain, which are settings of popular Netflix productions, as well as ▲50% discount on T Roaming coupons ▲discounts on Interpark tickets, popular musicals, plays, and exhibitions ▲and a 2-month subscription benefit for CU Plus.

Additionally, SKT has newly launched premium mobile phone loss and damage insurance products, 'T All Care Plus 5' and 'T All Care Plus 5 Switch,' which enhance benefits and compensation levels such as insurance premium discounts and provision of phone screen protection films.

T All Care Plus 5 has expanded the number of damage compensations up to five times and newly offers a 'Phone Drop Damage Detection Alert' feature that sends immediate notifications when a phone drop impact is detected and provides 24-hour consultation.

The T All Care Plus 5 Switch product, designed for customers worried about frequent damage, increases the number of damage compensations to unlimited and supports up to three replacements of phones with screen afterimages or everyday scratches with a 'Renew Phone' that looks like a new phone.
