Soldiers Return After 3 Hours and Thank by Delivering Coffee
At a restaurant in Jeju Island, a heartwarming story has been shared where soldiers on leave were only charged for the cost of ingredients as a kind gesture, and a few hours later, the soldiers returned to express their gratitude.
On the 18th, a story from Mr. A, who works as a manager at a restaurant in Jeju, was posted on the Facebook community 'Army Training Center Delivered on Behalf.' Mr. A wrote, "Usually, restaurants in Jeju have a strong image of being tourist spots, so soldiers on leave find it difficult to approach them," adding, "It was really the first time in years that soldiers visited the restaurant alone."

Mr. A said, "Since it was the soldiers' last day of leave, perhaps feeling a bit regretful, they ordered the most expensive item on the menu," and added, "We prepared the food with all our heart, and when they left, they only paid for the cost of ingredients, and I handed them an envelope containing juice and a letter encouraging them to stay strong."
The soldiers who received the letter envelope repeatedly expressed their thanks and left, but returned to the restaurant three hours later. When a surprised Mr. A asked, "Did something happen?" the soldiers handed over eight cups of coffee they had brought. Mr. A said, "There are no cafes near the restaurant," and "I almost cried on the spot when the soldiers said they were so thankful they couldn't just leave without buying something."

Mr. A said, "These five soldiers came to Jeju for their leave and said they serve on our Navy's Dokdo ship," adding, "I wanted to praise them, so I decided to share this story. I hope they always stay healthy during their military service."
Netizens who read the story responded with comments such as, "Although I am not a soldier working with them, I am thankful as a fellow Navy comrade," "It seems like they exchanged warm hearts," "It naturally brings a smile," and "I support their safe military service."
