Jinan-gun, Jeonbuk, has launched a preliminary training session for booth participants and others to ensure that the '2024 Jinan Red Ginseng Festival,' scheduled to be held for four days from October 3 to 6 in the northern area of Maisan, will be a friendly festival free from overcharging concerns.
According to the county on the 18th, about 60 people, including those promoting the sales of red ginseng, fresh ginseng, food booths, and participants in experience booths, gathered for this training held at the county office auditorium.

The training covered booth operation guidelines for the successful hosting of the Red Ginseng Festival, including friendliness, hygiene, and the use of the Culture Nuri Card. Education to prevent overcharging at the festival, which has recently become a hot topic, was also conducted.
The operators who participated in the training pledged, "We will strive to widely promote the festival to attract many tourists and create a Jinan Red Ginseng Festival that visitors want to return to, with a variety of reasonably priced food, clean and friendly service."
Kim Jeong-bae, chairman of the festival promotion committee, said, "Since the Jinan Red Ginseng Festival has been selected as a cultural tourism festival for 2024-2025, the festival promotion committee will do its best to prepare so that all festival visitors are satisfied."
