Targeting Accommodation Facilities, Restaurants, and Cafes
On the 18th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it is recruiting businesses such as lodging facilities, restaurants, and cafes to participate in the "Chuyangjeogyeok Anseong Travel Autumn Sale Festa."
The Autumn Sale Festa is a project aimed at promoting Anseong's tourist attractions and revitalizing the local commercial district for visitors attending autumn events such as the World Soft Tennis Championships (September 3rd to September 9th) and the Baudeogi Festival (October 3rd to October 6th).
Businesses with addresses in Anseong City that fall under the "Lodging and Food Service Industry" according to the Korean Standard Industrial Classification are eligible to apply. During the two months of September and October when the events take place, participating businesses must voluntarily offer price discounts or free services to visitors.
The city provides benefits to participating businesses, including focused promotion targeting visitors of events like the Baudeogi Festival, exposure on a dedicated website, Anseong rice delivery events, collaboration events with Starfield Anseong, and promotion through social networking services (SNS). Additionally, after the event period, businesses will receive priority consideration when the city promotes tourism courses.
A city official stated, "We will strive to make the Autumn Sale Festa an event that appeals to the tastes of tourists, the local commercial district, and citizens alike."
