According to the police on the 18th, at around 2:14 p.m., the water level at Jamsu Bridge exceeded 6.0 meters, prompting preemptive measures to restrict vehicle traffic. The Jamsu Bridge suspends pedestrian and vehicle traffic at water levels of 5.50 meters and 6.20 meters, respectively.

Earlier, the Seoul Metropolitan Government had restricted pedestrian traffic on the Jamsu Bridge from around 7:10 a.m. According to the city, as the discharge from Paldang Dam increased, more than 8,500 tons of water per second were being released into the Han River as of 2:15 p.m.

The Seoul Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters urged, "Please check traffic conditions in advance and use public transportation whenever possible."
