The Department of Emergency Medical Technology at Tongmyong University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) has signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with "Crazy Surfers," located at Gwangalli Beach, for the purpose of education in marine leisure activities and water safety.
Crazy Surfers is a company that operates various marine leisure activity programs for the general public and university students, and it will collaborate with the Department of Emergency Medical Technology at Tongmyong University to run a variety of programs aimed at revitalizing marine leisure.
Park Hyunsoo, CEO of Crazy Surfers, said, "We are pleased to be able to provide safer and more enjoyable marine leisure activities through cooperation with Tongmyong University," and added, "We hope to contribute to the development of the marine leisure industry in the Busan area together with the university."
Kim Sungjoo, head of the Department of Emergency Medical Technology, emphasized, "I hope students can develop the skills needed in the field not only through theory but also through hands-on practice. This will greatly help foster talent that will contribute to the revitalization of marine leisure and the development of the marine leisure industry, which is a strategic industry in the Busan area."
