Hana Securities analyzed on the 18th that Anapass is expected to benefit from the growth of the OLED laptop market. They newly issued a 'Buy' investment opinion and a target price of 49,000 KRW.
Kim Doohyun, a researcher at Hana Securities, stated, "AI PC shipments are expected to grow from about 5 million units this year to 64 million units by 2031," and explained, "AI PCs are high-spec premium lines with heat generation issues, so they will be equipped with OLED panels."
He continued, "Samsung Display, a major customer of Anapass, holds about 94% of the global market share for OLED monitors and laptops," and added, "the market share of Anapass T-Con within its customers also exceeds 70%."
Researcher Kim said, "As the area increases, the selling price of T-Con rises," and noted, "IT T-Con prices are understood to be 2 to 3 times higher than smartphone T-Con prices." He emphasized, "This year, sales are estimated at 147.7 billion KRW and operating profit at 12.2 billion KRW," highlighting that "these figures represent increases of 106.6% and 171.1%, respectively, compared to last year."
