Ghost Robotics Technology Expands Sales Volume of 'Vision 60' Key Components to US GRC

Domestic robot and software development company ‘Ghost Robotics Technology’ announced on the 17th that it completed the sale of key components of the quadruped robot Vision 60 to the US company Ghost Robotics Corp. (hereinafter ‘GRC’) last month. The supplied quantity is more than five times the amount sold in the first quarter, and additional supplies are scheduled for the third quarter.

Currently, Ghost Robotics Technology is the largest shareholder of KRM, a KOSDAQ-listed company (with a 21.45% stake), and receives key components of Vision 60 from KRM. The structure involves KRM producing the key components of Vision 60, supplying them to Ghost Robotics Technology, which then sells them to GRC.

‘Vision 60,’ developed by GRC, is known as the quadruped robot best suited for outdoor use, boasting advantages such as longer battery life, modularized components, high IP rating, and excellent mobility compared to competing products among existing quadruped robots. For these reasons, Vision 60 is currently attracting significant interest from various institutions, including national defense agencies worldwide.

The US government announced in May that it plans to impose tariffs on Chinese-made permanent magnets starting in 2026. Under this policy, the decoupling from China of key components such as motors used in Vision 60 is expected to accelerate. This is why the sales of components from Ghost Robotics Technology to GRC are expected to continue expanding.

Regarding this, Ghost Robotics Technology explained that the key components sold in June grew more than five times compared to the first quarter sales volume, and the sales volume is expected to continue expanding. They added that they will continue to do their best to grow as a leading company in the Korean robot market in the future.
