SG and Sambu Construction are showing strong performance. The possibility of former President Donald Trump, who advocates for the end of the Russia-Ukraine war, winning the election has increased, raising expectations for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
As of 11:14 AM on the 17th, SG is trading at 2,010 KRW, up 5.18% from the previous day. Sambu Construction is also up more than 1%.
Lee Chungheon, a researcher at Value Finder, explained, "SG established its local subsidiary SG Ukraine in February this year," adding, "They signed a contract with the largest local steel company, Metinvest Group, for the free supply of 42 million tons of slag over the next 10 years." He further forecasted, "If Ecos Steel Ascon proves its efficiency at the test site for the P06 230-kilometer highway project in Mykolaiv Oblast in the third quarter of this year, it is highly likely to be used throughout the entire highway project."
Sambu Construction plans to promote a reconstruction project in Ukraine that is 20 times the size of Yeouido. It was introduced that Volodymyr Remeniak, mayor of Horodock, Ukraine, requested Sambu Construction to actively participate in the Smart City 4.0 project, and a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed to promote related work.
A representative from Sambu Construction said, "Smart City 4.0 is an area with the Horodock customs office, making it easy to connect with railroads, roads, and air transportation. The complex will include residential and business districts, an Olympic village, education, agriculture and pharmaceuticals, aviation training, an airport terminal, and a logistics complex." They added, "In addition to industrial complex construction, we will also pursue participation in a residential facility project of 600,000 pyeong requested by PGD."
