Bucheon-si Launches Efforts to Attract Companies to Daejang Advanced Industrial Complex... Begins Establishing Occupancy Strategy

Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province has started its efforts to become a cutting-edge industrial hub in the western metropolitan area.

On the 16th, the city announced that it has officially launched a project to establish a relocation strategy for the successful development of Bucheon Daejang 1st and 2nd Urban High-Tech Industrial Complexes.

At the kickoff briefing held the previous day, presided over by Vice Mayor Song Jaehwan, about 20 participants including related department heads, the president of Bucheon Urban Corporation, the director of Bucheon Industrial Promotion Agency, and representatives from the project firm discussed the importance and goals of the strategy formulation.

This project focuses on maximizing the synergy effects of the industrial complexes and seeking measures to enhance competitiveness. In particular, it plans to conduct an in-depth analysis of industries to attract excellent companies in various fields such as advanced technology industries, environmental technology, and smart manufacturing, and to prepare an optimal layout plan.

Additionally, a systematic land supply plan will be established to ensure smooth relocation of companies. By providing necessary sites and infrastructure in a timely manner, the city aims to create an environment where companies can settle stably.

Furthermore, a basic management plan for the industrial complexes, including long-term management and operation measures, will be prepared to promote sustainable development and maximize the complexes’ performance through efficient operation.
