On the 16th, the Jungnang Police Station in Seoul announced that Mr. A was urgently arrested and detained on charges including habitual theft.

Between the 7th and 11th, Mr. A targeted vehicles with side mirrors that were not folded in several apartment parking lots in Gangbuk. If he found an unlocked car, he would start the engine and steal it, resulting in the theft of four passenger cars.

Mr. A stole separate license plates and forged some characters with a permanent marker, then replaced and attached them to the stolen vehicles for operation. The suspect had previously had his license revoked due to crimes involving vehicles but committed offenses again.

The police received a report that someone was secretly using their car and began an investigation. On the 11th, they urgently arrested Mr. A near his residence as he attempted to flee.

A police official stated, "Since he has been punished for the same crime before, we plan to investigate whether there are additional offenses."
