Geochang County, Ryu Hyunbok Inaugurated as 33rd Mayor of Geochang-eup

Ryu, Town Chief: "I Will Always Keep My Door Open and Listen to Various Opinions from Residents"

Geochang-eup, Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam held the inauguration ceremony for the 33rd head of Geochang-eup, Ryu Hyunbok, at the Geochang-eup Administrative Welfare Center on the 15th, with around 80 people in attendance, including heads of institutions and organizations and local residents.

Head Ryu began his public service career in December 1990 at the county office's Social Affairs Division and has since built his experience by working in key departments such as the Planning and Audit Office, Administration Division, Finance Division, and Council Secretariat. After being promoted to section chief in March 2021, he served as Gajo-myeon chief and Strategic Officer, and with the personnel appointment on July 15, he was inaugurated as the 33rd head of Geochang-eup.

In his inaugural address, Head Ryu stated, "I will always practice open administration that communicates for the development and achievements of Geochang-eup, and I will seek answers on site through proactive administration," adding, "I will do my best to make Geochang-eup a community that respects diversity, understands differences, and cooperates with one another."

He further emphasized, "I will always keep the doors open to residents and listen to various opinions."

Meanwhile, after the inauguration ceremony, he held a meeting with heads of institutions, village leaders, and residents, beginning his first official schedule as head of Geochang-eup by stating, "I ask for your advice and guidance as we lead Geochang-eup together in the future."
