Removing Odors and Harmful Gases and Filtering 0.3㎛ Ultrafine Dust
Gidulami is introducing a new air purification system that not only purifies and ventilates the air but also eliminates bacteria and viruses.
On the 16th, Gidulami announced the launch of the ‘Gidulami Ventilation Plus Plasma Air Purification System,’ which more effectively reduces indoor air pollutants.
This product uses negative and positive ions generated by the 'Plasma Ionizer' to cluster airborne pollutants into larger particles that are then filtered out. It effectively neutralizes bacteria and viruses in the air by rendering them inactive, as well as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odor gases that cause sick house syndrome. When the plasma ionizer operates, the ozone concentration generated is up to 0.003 ppm, which is significantly lower than the Ministry of Environment’s indoor standard of 0.06 ppm or less, ensuring safety.
The air purification function is also upgraded with the application of a ‘dual filter.’ The carbon filter, composed of countless activated carbon granules, removes odors and harmful gases entering from outside, while the HEPA filter captures ultrafine dust particles as small as 0.3㎛ (micrometers) with 99.9% efficiency, maintaining comfortable indoor air quality.
Using a high-efficiency heat exchange element, the system recovers more than 70% of the cold and heat contained in indoor air. The recovered energy is used to warm or cool incoming outside air, contributing to energy savings in heating and cooling.
A Gidulami Boiler official stated, “Due to concerns about fine dust and various infectious diseases caused by bacteria and viruses that occur regardless of the season, the need for an air purification system that can simultaneously purify air and ventilate indoors is increasing. The Gidulami Ventilation Plus Plasma Air Purification System can be installed not only in multi-family housing complexes with 30 or more households and mixed-use buildings where ventilation systems are mandatory but also in homes that previously managed indoor air with conventional air purifiers, allowing residents to enjoy a comfortable daily life free from fine dust, bacteria, and viruses.”
