Zozo Championship, World Wide Technology Hosted
The PGA Tour has announced its fall tournament schedule.
On the 15th (local time), the PGA Tour revealed that after concluding the regular season schedule with the 2024 Tour Championship, it will hold eight tournaments for players who did not secure their tour cards for the next season. Starting with the Napa Valley Championship, held over four days from September 12, the schedule includes the Sanderson Farms Championship (October 3-6), Black Desert Championship (October 10-13), and Shriners Children's Open (October 17-20), all taking place in the United States.
Afterwards, the tournaments will move outside the U.S. In Japan, the Zozo Championship will be held from October 24-27; in Mexico, the World Wide Technology Championship from November 7-10; and in Bermuda, the Butterfield Bermuda Championship from November 14-17. Returning to the U.S., the fall schedule will conclude with the RSM Classic from November 21-24.
Winners of the fall tournaments will receive a two-year PGA Tour card, as well as entry into next year’s "fifth major," The Players Championship, and the season-opening Tournament of Champions. The schedule for unofficial PGA Tour events has also been confirmed. The World Challenge, hosted by the "Golf Emperor" Tiger Woods (USA), will take place in the Bahamas from December 5-9. The mixed event co-hosted by the PGA Tour and the LPGA Tour, the Grant Thornton Invitational, will be held in Naples, Florida, USA, from December 12-15.
