The number of customers participating in the carbon-neutral points system through the fuel management app equipped with an electronic receipt issuance function (MY S-OIL) increased by 80% from 28,000 cases last year to this year. The number of app installs also grew significantly from 440,000 last year to 650,000 recently.

S-OIL has expanded the number of gas stations where the app can be used from 351 locations in March last year to 1,200 locations, enhancing customer convenience and supporting eco-friendly practices.

An S-OIL official said, "It is known that reducing one paper receipt decreases carbon emissions by 1.7g and waste output by 0.7g, which has increased customer interest in electronic receipts following the eco-friendly trend. Electronic receipts not only eliminate concerns about personal information leakage but also allow customers to use the quick fueling service without a physical card and manage bonus points and fueling records, making it popular among customers who prefer smart consumption patterns."
