Han Hye-jin Complains of Trespassing
Reveals Reason for Installing Fence at Hongcheon House
"Tourists Have Visited... It's Scary"
Model and broadcaster Han Hye-jin confessed to unauthorized intrusion at her villa in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, and revealed that she installed a fence around her Hongcheon house.
On the 14th, Han Hye-jin appeared on SBS's 'My Ugly Duckling' and shared the privacy invasion she had experienced with YouTuber Pungja, who visited her Hongcheon villa. When Pungja asked Han Hye-jin on the show, "I saw you put up a fence on the way here," Han Hye-jin explained the reason for installing the fence, saying, "There originally wasn't one. I thought if I put up a fence or wall, I would feel trapped. I wanted to be in nature, so I came to the villa, and I didn't really want to put up a fence."
The main reason Han Hye-jin decided to put up the fence was due to an increase in unauthorized external intruders. Han Hye-jin said, "One morning, I was in the living room and saw a gray sedan right in the middle of the yard through the large window," and explained the absurd situation at the time, "I wondered if it was someone I knew, but it was a stranger. When I asked how they got here, they said, 'We came after watching TV and YouTube.'"
Han Hye-jin politely asked them to leave, saying, "Sorry, this is private property, so you cannot come in." However, the intruders went down toward the valley and reportedly cursed, saying, "We will never watch the TV shows with Han Hye-jin again."
Han Hye-jin confessed that this was not the first time she had such experiences. She said, "There were two more similar incidents. Once, someone who came to the villa was very happy when I left and said, 'Oh, you were home!' I felt bad because they were so happy. I asked them to leave since it is private property," she revealed. She added, "I know how many people come when I am not there, and I am grateful for that," but also said, "But if three groups come in one day, can you imagine how I felt?" explaining why she had no choice but to decide to install the fence.
Han Hye-jin's mother expressed concern, saying, "When Hye-jin said she was moving to the countryside, the first thing I told her was 'Don't put up a fence.' But she couldn't avoid it. When three or four men get out of a car, it's scary, so she can't stay there." Han Hye-jin also added that tourists have visited her villa before.

Previously, Han Hye-jin had mentioned several times through her YouTube channel, social media, and broadcasts that she was experiencing unauthorized intrusion. Last month, she uploaded a video titled 'Han Hye-jin's Villa Privacy Invasion Issue, I Will Tell You Everything' on her YouTube channel, where she shared the damages she had suffered so far.
In the video, Han Hye-jin said, "I was showering and drying my hair when I heard the sound of a car door closing. No one was supposed to come home, so I froze for 10 seconds alone," and confessed, "When I quickly put on clothes and went out, there were four people?two men and two women?who were looking around the yard."
In April, she also appealed through social media by attaching a photo of a vehicle that had come to her villa, saying, "Please don't come. The CCTV records even the license plates. It's scary."
Meanwhile, the crime of trespassing and refusal to leave is defined as entering a person's residence, guarded mansion, building, ship, or occupied room without permission or refusing to leave when asked. Those who commit such offenses can face up to three years in prison or a fine of up to 5 million won.
