Price Increase Around 400,000 Won
Kia's commercial vehicle 'BongoⅢ' has released a model with updated model year features. Cruise control and power-folding side mirrors are now standard, and an automatic transmission has been newly applied to driver training vehicles.
Kia announced that the 'The 2025 BongoⅢ' will be launched on the 16th.
First, power-folding outside mirrors and cruise control have been expanded to even the lower trims. Higher trims come standard with a tweeter speaker and chrome inside door handles & parking brake lever.
Additionally, all trims are equipped with fire extinguishers, and automatic transmission models have been added to driver training vehicles based on the 1t extra-long wheelbase double cab and standard cab. This is in anticipation of the newly introduced 'conditional automatic transmission Class 1 regular license' scheduled for the fourth quarter.
The sales prices for two-wheel drive, extra-long wheelbase King Cab, and 6-speed manual transmission models are ▲1t 20.35 million to 23 million KRW ▲1.2t 24.55 million to 25.6 million KRW. For driver training vehicles, the prices are ▲1t standard cab 19.88 million KRW ▲1t double cab 21.27 million KRW.
Choosing an automatic transmission adds 1.13 million KRW for 1t vehicles and 1.07 million KRW for 1.2t vehicles. However, four-wheel drive models are only available with manual transmissions.
A Kia official stated, "The newly introduced automatic transmission driver training vehicles will expand the options for customers preparing for their driver's license."
