Min Hyung-bae, Democratic Party Supreme Council Candidate, "Will Restore South Korea to Its Rightful Place"

Min Hyung-bae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea who passed the preliminary race for the Supreme Council member, stated with sharp eyes and a passionate heart, "I will act in a manner befitting Gwangju, confidently and diligently."

On the 15th, at a press conference held at the Gwangju Metropolitan Council, Min said, "I will save people's livelihoods, protect democracy, and restore the Republic of Korea to normalcy," appealing for support by saying, "I will uphold Gwangju's pride and run confidently and boldly like Gwangju."

He said, "The South Korean economy, which had always advanced, is now retreating, and the trade balance is dire. Wages remain stagnant, while prices and interest rates are skyrocketing," adding, "Citizens' lives are being pushed to the brink."

He continued, "The Democratic Party must face this with solemn determination and extraordinary resolve. We must wage an all-out war against Yoon Seok-yeol's prosecutorial dictatorship," and explained his candidacy by saying, "To win, we need the strongest warrior on the front lines who will charge forward solely for victory."

He also stated, "Lee Jae-myung, our Democratic Party of Korea's most precious and important political asset, is being targeted by the prosecutorial dictatorship regime, which is committing atrocities using all kinds of illegal and unlawful means to bring him down," emphasizing, "Protecting Lee is not about protecting the individual Lee Jae-myung. It means safeguarding the Democratic Party's most important asset and growing that asset to normalize the Republic of Korea."

Furthermore, he explained, "The current imbalance in South Korea is extremely severe. People, capital, power, and budgets are excessively concentrated in the Seoul metropolitan area," adding, "Among the eight preliminary candidates for the Democratic Party Supreme Council member, seven have constituencies in Seoul or Gyeonggi. Min Hyung-bae is the only candidate with a constituency outside Seoul and Gyeonggi (in the provinces)."

Min asserted, "Having passed with outstanding results, I will become a powerful Supreme Council member to represent the region and realize the region's requests."
