He continued, "I was very scared and afraid to make this video, and as time passed, I wanted to hide and avoid it. I know it will be hard to be forgiven no matter what apology I make, but I sincerely apologize once again." Lee emphasized, "I also feel very sorry to be apologizing at this point, 20 years later. For the victim, this must be a painful wound that should fade and be forgotten, but I will never forget and will live my life reflecting and apologizing. I want to say sorry once again." It has not been confirmed whether Lee is actually one of the Milyang perpetrators.

The operator of the YouTube channel Milyang The Glory announced that they would delete any praise comments that might be posted on this apology video, stating, "Praise and good comments will be deleted." Regarding netizens' demands that the perpetrator should provide financial compensation to the victim rather than just apologizing verbally, the operator explained, "If time passes and the victim forgives, compensation will be promised then," adding, "Currently, the victims are refusing material compensation from the perpetrators." The operator also requested viewers to refrain from downloading the video, as it may need to be deleted if the victim requests it.

As of 3 p.m. on the 15th, about 1,500 comments had been posted on the video, which was uploaded about 18 hours earlier. Netizens responded with comments such as, "An apology does not erase the crime, so live with remorse for life," "We must continue to pay attention until apology videos from all perpetrators are posted," "Reveal all the truths and everyone involved," and "If this case had not become an issue now, no one would have apologized and they would be living well."

Previously, the Milyang The Glory channel caused controversy by falsely accusing a citizen of being a perpetrator in the Milyang sexual assault case. The channel released a document claiming to be the verdict related to Mr. A in the Milyang case, which included some details of the charges. The document contained specific allegations that Mr. A had sexually assaulted the victim. However, the document was revealed to be not a verdict but a notice of non-prosecution from the prosecution.

Before stating the reasons for non-prosecution, the charges the suspect faced are recorded first. Milyang The Glory cut out only this part and posted it as if Mr. A had been found guilty. The full document shows that Mr. A was given a 'no prosecution' disposition because "there is no statement from the victim regarding the suspects in this case." It is reported that due to reckless private sanctions by YouTubers like Milyang The Glory who exposed identities, Mr. A resigned from his company voluntarily and his family suffered indiscriminate witch hunts, causing significant harm.
