Coway’s ‘Virex Pebble Chair’ has been recognized for its design excellence and was selected as the ‘Design of the Year’ at the ‘2024 12th Korea Brand Awards,’ the company announced on the 15th.

Organized by the Korea Marketing Association, the ‘Korea Brand Awards’ is a survey that selects companies that have achieved results through customer-centric brand management activities and contributed to enhancing national industrial competitiveness. Among the award categories, ‘Design of the Year’ is given to brands that have elevated corporate competitiveness by prioritizing design value, based on consumer surveys and expert evaluations.

In this evaluation, Coway’s Virex Pebble Chair received the ‘Design of the Year’ award for its differentiated aesthetics and usability.

The Coway Virex Pebble Chair received high praise for its stylish design that naturally blends into any space. It comes in four colors: Hazy Blue, Sand Beige, Terracotta Pink, and Mystic Gray, allowing selection according to interior atmosphere and personal preference. It features a reclining function adjustable up to 137°, and its significantly reduced size allows users to enjoy relaxation and massage simultaneously without worrying about space constraints.

Despite its smaller size, it includes a 3D massage module and the patented ‘Hot Stone Therapy Tool,’ which are typically applied in premium models, providing warm acupressure and effectively relieving fatigue. Unlike the 2D module that moves only up, down, left, and right, it moves precisely up to 7 cm forward and backward, delivering a three-dimensional massage effect. It offers customized massages through automatic body shape analysis and shoulder position detection, and its suitability for use by the whole family has also resulted in high satisfaction.
