Support for Childcare Products for Newlyweds in Happy Housing and More
Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC, President Kim Yonghak) announced on the 15th that it will implement the "Happy Birth, Happy Neighborhood Project" for newlywed couples residing in rental housing.
This project has been planned in connection with the government's recent announcement of "measures to reverse the low birth rate trend," aiming to bless and support newlywed couples among the corporation's rental housing residents as they embark on a new chapter in life.
The beneficiaries are residents of Happy Housing, National Rental, and Permanent Rental who have given birth to a child in 2024 or are expecting a child. Selected households will receive childcare products worth approximately 300,000 KRW.
Eligible applicants who wish to participate can fill out the application form and submit the required documents to the management office of their current residential complex. The submission deadline is the 31st of this month.
The corporation is also conducting various promotional activities, such as posting posters in each complex and sending text messages, to increase residents' interest and participation.
BMC is striving to improve residential welfare for citizens by supporting newlywed couples with rental deposit loan interest and rent through the "Lucky 7 House Support Project" in collaboration with Busan City.
Kim Yonghak, President of Busan Metropolitan Corporation, said, "I hope this project will be a great support to families with newborns in our rental housing," and added, "As a leading public institution in the region, we will take the initiative in addressing social issues such as the low birth rate with pride."
