On the 15th, NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance CEO Seo Guk-dong announced that he visited farms in Yeongdong-gun, Chungbuk, Seongju-gun, Gyeongbuk, and Iksan-si, Jeonbuk, which were damaged by the heavy rains on the 10th and 11th, to assess the situation and console the farmers.
On the 10th, heavy rain fell nationwide along with heavy rain warnings, causing damage such as flooding of houses, farmland, and roads.
CEO Seo ordered a nationwide damage assessment and accident investigation of farmland, visited the sites, and gathered opinions from farmers together with damage survey personnel. CEO Seo said, "It is regrettable that unexpected damage occurred due to the sudden heavy rain. We will promptly assess the damage and strive to help the affected farmers quickly return to their farming activities."
Meanwhile, Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance has prepared support measures for farms affected by the heavy rain, including ▲ deferment of insurance premium payments and deferment of interest payments on insurance contract loans ▲ priority deployment of survey personnel to accident sites and prompt damage investigation ▲ guidance on the horticultural facility insurance advance payment system, and will work to ensure rapid recovery from the damage.
