A man in his 50s was arrested after attacking two police officers with a weapon, injuring them, following a 112 emergency call. It was found that the suspect tested positive for methamphetamine.
According to the Busan Dongbu Police Station on the 15th, a 112 emergency call was received reporting that "a man living on the second floor is breaking down the door" at a house in Dong-gu, Busan. Two police officers were dispatched and arrived at the scene at around 1:55 a.m. that day.
When the police knocked on the door to the second floor of the house, Mr. A came out holding weapons in both hands and swung them at Inspector B and Lieutenant C.
The responding officers subdued Mr. A, but Inspector B was stabbed in the left collarbone area and Lieutenant C in the right chest area, and both were transported to the hospital. After receiving medical treatment, both officers have since been discharged, and fortunately, their injuries are reported to be minor.
