Busan Office of Education to Run Advanced Courses for Elementary, Middle, and High School Parent Classes

Customized Education for Each Stage of Child Development: Reading, Academic Skills, and Communication

'We will provide more detailed guidance on child-rearing and education methods.'

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo) will operate the 'Advanced Course for Elementary, Middle, and High School Parents' online (via ZOOM) for parents from August 6 to August 30.

This program is a customized curriculum that considers the developmental stages of children and consists of four sessions per school level. It is an advanced course following the basic curriculum (Pre-Parent Class) held last February.

The elementary school course will be held every Friday, focusing on essential topics for child-rearing such as 'Self-Directed Learning,' 'Reading,' 'Digital Literacy,' and 'Games,' in connection with Busan's education policies.

The middle school course will be held every Wednesday and will cover topics such as 'Middle School Curriculum and Learning Guidance,' 'Adolescent Mental Health,' and 'Smartphone Usage,' focusing on academic improvement and communication with children.

High school parents can learn proper coaching methods for their children's academic growth and this year's college entrance trends through classes held every Tuesday.
