On the 13th (local time), Ivanka Trump, the eldest daughter of former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, expressed her condolences for the victims and showed unwavering affection for her father following the shooting incident during a campaign event.
Ivanka wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Thank you for the love and prayers you have shown for my father and the victims of the senseless violence that occurred today in Butler, Pennsylvania," adding, "I also thank the Secret Service and all other law enforcement officers for their swift and decisive actions." She continued, "I will continue to pray for our country," and concluded, "Love you, Dad. Today and always."
