Nam-pyo Hong, the Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, attended the "25th Crime Prevention Resolution and Unity Sports Festival" hosted by the Jinhae Volunteer Crime Prevention Union at the Jinhae Cultural Center Gymnasium.

The event, held on the 13th, was attended by Nam-pyo Hong, members of the National Assembly, city council members, and about 400 members of the Jinhae Volunteer Crime Prevention Union.
During the first part of the event, there was a ceremony to commend outstanding members and a reading of the resolution, providing an opportunity to recognize the efforts of the crime prevention members. In the second part, a stepping stone sports class was held to strengthen the unity among the members of the Jinhae Volunteer Crime Prevention Union.
In his congratulatory speech, Mayor Hong encouraged the members, saying, "I would like to thank all the members who have worked day and night for local security. Changwon City will continue to make efforts to ensure that there are no inconveniences in your activities."
Meanwhile, the Jinhae Volunteer Crime Prevention Union contributes to the safety and development of the local community through crime prevention patrols, resident rescue activities, and support for public security tasks in the Jinhae area.
