Launch of the Organizing Committee for the 4th Geumcheon Fashion Film Festival

On the 12th, a film festival organizing committee composed of 20 local figures, film directors, and professors was launched

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) and the Geumcheon Cultural Foundation (CEO Seo Young-cheol) announced that they held the "4th Geumcheon Fashion Film Festival Organizing Committee Launch Ceremony" at 10:30 AM on the 12th at the G-Valley Corporate Citizen Hall.

The "Geumcheon Fashion Film Festival," which started in 2021, is the only and first fashion film festival in Korea, focusing on the district's specialized industry, the "fashion industry." Now in its fourth year, the festival is scheduled to be held from September 6 to 9 in conjunction with G-Valley's largest festival, "G-Valley Week."

The co-chairmen of the festival's organizing committee are Geumcheon-gu Mayor Yu Seong-hoon and Mario Shopping Chairman Hong Seong-yeol, and the executive chairman appointed is film director Jeong Yoon-chul, known for directing "Marathon," "Not So Not Good," and "The Proxy Soldiers."

About 20 local figures, including film directors, professors, businesspeople, and administrators, attended the launch ceremony as organizing committee members. The event included the awarding of appointment letters to the co-chairmen, organizing committee members, and executive chairman, a report on the festival promotion plan, and a Q&A session regarding the preparation process.

Yu Seong-hoon, Geumcheon-gu Mayor and organizing committee chairman, said, "With the help of many, including the organizing committee members, we are preparing for the fourth Geumcheon Fashion Film Festival," adding, "We are preparing a festival that all Geumcheon residents, Seoul citizens, and filmmakers can participate in, so please look forward to it."
