Na Chairman Leads SK Social Value Management Direction
Also Serving as Head of SK Social Value Research Institute
T&C Foundation announced on the 12th that it has appointed Na Seok-gwon, CEO of the Social Value Research Institute, as its new chairman.
Chairman Na Seok-gwon worked for 25 years at the Blue House Secretariat, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, and the Ministry of Finance. He joined SK Management & Economic Research Institute in 2017 and has been serving as the CEO of the Social Value Research Institute under SK Group since 2019.
He is an expert who proposed SK Group's social value management blueprint through the work of measuring and quantifying social value. With this appointment, he will concurrently serve as chairman of T&C Foundation and CEO of the Social Value Research Institute.
Kim Hee-young, the former chairman who established T&C Foundation at the end of 2017 and has worked without compensation until now, will remain as a director of the foundation. She plans to continue providing advice and support based on her experience.
Chairman Na said, "I will focus on further refining and spreading the value of empathy that T&C Foundation has built, contributing to creating a better society."
T&C Foundation plans to develop scholarship and education programs that cultivate empathy skills among scholarship students in a more multidimensional way, improve the efficiency of welfare projects, and advance empathy projects.
