Hearing this, Gree said, "I spent a lot helping out," and added, "I spent a huge amount on my maternal grandmother’s hospital bills. It cost about 3 to 4 million won per month. I also did grocery shopping and supported her for about 2 to 3 years." Kim Gu-ra’s mother responded, "Dong-hyun did it all," and Gree replied, "Of course, I have to do it all." Meanwhile, Kim Gu-ra showed surprise, saying, "I didn’t know you gave 3 to 4 million won per month as allowance to your maternal family."

In an interview with the production team, Kim Gu-ra said, "She was my in-law before, and I know how hard my mother-in-law went through," and added, "(She recently passed away) I was going to visit the funeral home, but Dong-hyun told me not to come, so I shared the funeral expenses little by little." Kim Gu-ra divorced his ex-wife A in 2015 after 18 years of marriage. They have a son, Gree. Gree became famous from a young age by appearing on various broadcasts with his father Kim Gu-ra.

Actor Kim Yong-gun, who watched the conversation between Kim Gu-ra and Gree in the studio, said, "Having a grandchild in their 20s is not easy," and added, "He must have been busy spending on himself, so it’s admirable." In June, Gree also shared on the YouTube broadcast 'Dakkaba' that "wealth has not accumulated much. There was a sick family history at home." He said, "I paid off a lot of my mother’s debts and gave her living expenses," and added, "My maternal grandmother passed away four days ago, and I spent more money on filial duties, such as hiring a caregiver." Gree is scheduled to enlist in the Marine Corps on the 29th of this month.
