Signed Agreement with Ministry of Culture and Tourism for Tourism Promotion

Chungnam Province promoted the '2025-2026 Visit Chungnam Year' in Shandong Province, China.
The province held a tourism briefing session in Shandong Province, which marks the 29th anniversary of their exchange from the 9th to the 12th, introducing the Visit Chungnam Year along with major tourist attractions.
The province signed a memorandum of understanding for tourism promotion with organizations such as the Culture and Tourism Administration and agreed to cooperate for mutual growth in the field of culture and tourism.
Chungnam Province and Shandong Province began friendly exchanges in October 1995 and have since collaborated through tourism familiarization tours, mutual participation in international events, and more since 2006.
Song Mugyeong, Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said, "Chungnam Province and the Shandong region face each other across the sea, and there is even a saying, 'When a rooster crows in Shandong, it can be heard across the Yellow Sea,' which shows how close we are. Next year, to mark the 30th anniversary of our friendly cooperation, we plan to hold exchange events in connection with the Visit Chungnam Year program."
