On the 11th, a post titled "Tzuyang who donated over 3 million won to orphanages" was uploaded on various online communities. It included a captured clip from a video released in October 2020 on the YouTube channel "Reporter Kim's This Is." In the video, Bu Cheong-ha, the director of Sangnok Orphanage in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, said, "One day, I received a call from Tzuyang saying she wanted to help," and added, "When I asked if she wanted to help just once, she said she wanted to continue helping." The director said, "At that time, the monthly cost for 29 children was 3,157,000 won," and continued, "I asked her if she would come and check since it’s hard to trust just by words, and she said she would volunteer as well."
Since promising regular sponsorship in 2019, Tzuyang has kept this promise consistently even after the year passed. It is said that she visited the orphanage to meet the children even when she temporarily stopped broadcasting due to controversies such as undisclosed advertisements. The director recalled, "When the controversy broke out, I gathered the children and told them to write letters expressing gratitude for the grace they had received and to cheer up. The kids did very well," and said to Tzuyang, "Thank you so much for everything. Don’t feel pressured; you don’t have to send donations anymore." However, Tzuyang promised, "I won’t be able to send as much as now, but I will continue as much as I can," and added, "If I earn money from other work, I will donate more."

The director said, "This is not an ordinary thing. Even if you have money, many people cannot help others," and expressed admiration, "Even at the young age of 22, there is much to learn from her." He continued, "Although she earns a lot of money, she doesn’t think of it as the reward for labor. She said that the people who support her are the ones sponsoring her," and revealed, "She also said that she cannot use all the money herself and that she must give back to society."
Additionally, in June 2021, to commemorate the Month of Patriots and Veterans, Tzuyang donated 10 million won to support veterans, according to the Korea Central Volunteer Center. At that time, Tzuyang also participated in volunteer activities for elderly people living alone in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, and on the 10th, it was reported that she donated 200 million won to World Vision, an international relief and development organization, together with sponsors supporting her YouTube channel to celebrate reaching 10 million subscribers.
Earlier, the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute raised suspicions on the 10th that some YouTubers, called the so-called "Rekka Alliance," threatened Tzuyang to expose her past and extorted a large sum of money from her. Afterwards, Tzuyang claimed in a live broadcast on her channel that over the past four years, her ex-boyfriend and former agency CEO assaulted, exploited, and extorted 4 billion won from her. Tzuyang’s legal representatives stated, "We filed criminal charges against ex-boyfriend Mr. A for sexual assault, habitual assault, habitual threats, habitual injury, extortion (including attempted crimes), coercion (including attempted crimes), and obscenity using communication media," but explained, "However, during the investigation, the criminal complaint was dismissed and closed due to lack of prosecution."
