For Facility Heads and Dedicated Staff of 18 Service Agencies in Jeonju Area
Jeonju City in Jeonbuk announced on the 11th that it conducted 'Disability Activity Support Fraud Prevention Training' at the Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance conference room to eradicate fraudulent claims in disability activity support and strengthen monitoring.
According to Jeonju City, the training was attended by 40 people, including facility heads and dedicated personnel from 18 disability activity support providers. The main content included ▲an overview of social service vouchers ▲laws related to fraudulent claims, media reports, case studies of fraudulent claims, and focused management plans.

During the training, a representative from the Korea Social Security Information Service, which operates the Electronic Voucher Clean Center, introduced actual cases to raise awareness of fraudulent claims.
The city plans to continue conducting ongoing education and monitoring to prevent fraudulent claims in disability activity support. It also intends to respond strongly by reporting detected fraud cases to judicial authorities.
Kim Jaehwa, Director of the Welfare and Environment Bureau, said, "Recently, cases of fraudulent claims in disability activity support have increased, making prevention efforts urgently necessary. Jeonju City will continue to enhance the professionalism and ethics of service providers and do its best to prevent fraud and improve service quality."
