President Yoon Suk-yeol and U.S. President Joe Biden held a South Korea-U.S. summit on the 11th (local time) on the sidelines of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit, the Blue House announced.
The two leaders adopted a joint statement approving an update to the Nuclear Consultative Group (NCG) between the defense ministries of the two countries.
A Blue House official told reporters at the press center set up in Washington D.C. that "the South Korea-U.S. summit was held this morning," adding, "The joint statement mainly approves the NCG update between the deputy defense ministers of the two countries."
