According to the ministry, on the morning of the 8th, one person was buried and lost their life when a reinforced earth retaining wall under construction collapsed in Okcheon, Chungbuk.
On the morning of the 10th, one person was buried and died due to soil erosion in Seocheon, Chungnam, and another person lost their life when an elevator was submerged in water on the second basement floor of an officetel in Nonsan, Chungnam.
On the same morning, one person was found dead near a drainage ditch around a house in Buk-gu, Daegu, and another person was found dead after being buried by soil erosion in Geumsan, Chungnam.
In Yeongdong, Chungbuk, one person is missing due to flooding of a reservoir causing a farm shed to be submerged, and search operations are underway. Earlier, on the 9th, in Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk, one person went missing after slipping into an agricultural waterway, and authorities are conducting search efforts.
