Osan-si to Host 'Our Midsummer PeSu Festival' on the 13th

At Wondong Neighborhood Park... Various Events Including Water Play and Performances Planned

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the 'Midsummer Our Festival' at Wondong Neighborhood Park on the 13th.

This event is the second of four annual 'Osan City Youth Harmony Yard' events, selected as a public project by Gyeonggi Province and Osan City. The festival, hosted by Osan Nambu Youth Culture House, was proactively planned by youths active in local related organizations such as the Central Youth Culture House, Kkumbitnarae Youth Culture House, and Osan Youth Counseling and Welfare Center. Members of these groups will also serve as safety personnel for facility operations on the day of the festival.

The venue will feature a water slide enjoyable for children to adults, along with various performances and experiential programs. Performances will include youth dance, samulnori, and bands, as well as events like random play dance and activities such as making MBTI fans, tattoo stickers, cap hats, water guns, and beach bags.

Kim Dajeong, Youth Activity Team Leader at Osan Nambu Youth Culture House, said, "This is a meaningful event planned and operated directly by youths for local residents," adding, "We hope it becomes an event where all generations, from infants to adults, can participate together."
