"Adding Vitality as a New Cultural Space in Muan-gun"
The Muan Youth Platform (Director Kim Sang-jun) in Jeonnam Muan-gun is hosting the Muan Character Pop-up Exhibition from the 12th to the 26th.
The exhibition will be held at the Muan Youth Platform from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on weekends (the 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The theme of this exhibition is "We’re all different, but that’s why it’s even more special," and it is being held in collaboration with Peakberry Merch, a local artist and goods shop operator active in Muan.
Peakberry Merch will showcase various characters symbolizing Muan and their stories at this exhibition. During the pop-up exhibition, visitors can participate in various events and hands-on activities.
In particular, visitors can see Peakberry Merch’s creative works as well as various character products sold at their goods shop.
Various goods such as Muaning seal stickers and Muaning socks will be sold at the pop-up store, and on weekends, a custom T-shirt making experience booth will be operated, providing visitors with a special opportunity to design their own T-shirts.
The Muan Youth Platform plans to widely promote the cultural diversity of the Muan region through this exhibition and introduce the creative works of local artists.
Residents and visitors can discover new charms of Muan through this exhibition and create special memories through various hands-on activities.
Director Kim Sang-jun said, “I am pleased to introduce the cultural diversity of Muan and the creative works of local artists to many people through this exhibition,” and added, “We ask for active participation and interest from local residents and youth.”
Applications and detailed information can be found on the Muan Youth Platform website. The Muan Youth Platform (2nd floor, 37 Oryong 1-gil, Samhyang-eup) is equipped with shared offices, media rooms, and lecture rooms that are freely available to any youth in Muan-gun.
