CU is launching the largest capacity convenience store instant coffee, the 1240ml extra-large Get Iced Americano 2XL. The price is 2,800 KRW. Compared to the 960ml Americano sold at popular low-cost coffee shops priced at 3,000 KRW, the price per 100ml is more than 25% cheaper. As the product name 2XL suggests, it contains twice the espresso shots of a regular Get Iced Americano, totaling 4 shots. The cup ice used is also extra-large, weighing 650g, called the Big Ice Cup. This cup ice is the largest cup ice product distributed domestically, containing transparent and solid ice cubes made with advanced freezing technology in a specially designed plastic cup to prevent rapid melting.

Orion is selling three summer limited edition products: ‘Choco Pie Jeong Watermelon’, ‘Fresh Berry Melon’, and ‘Melon Song-i’. Choco Pie Jeong Watermelon has upgraded its taste and quality by increasing the watermelon juice in the marshmallow and the watermelon seed-shaped chocolate chips by 50% and 20% respectively compared to last year. Fresh Berry Melon enhances the sweet and fragrant melon flavor with a soft light green cake, smooth cream, and melon juice. The newly added ‘Melon Song-i’ transforms the classic Choco Song-i by adding white chocolate infused with melon juice to the head part, making it a perfect summer treat.


No Brand Burger Launches Two Kimchi Burgers

Shinsegae Food’s No Brand Burger is launching two new kimchi burger menu items using kimchi, a soul food of Koreans. The ‘Egg Kimchi Burger’ features a thick grilled patty topped with stir-fried kimchi and coleslaw, offering a crunchy and spicy flavor. It also includes a fried egg, a beloved Korean side dish, to add heartiness. The ‘Ham Egg Kimchi Burger’ adds savory luncheon ham to the Egg Kimchi Burger, providing a rich umami taste and making it a satisfying meal.


Ottogi Launches ‘Mulnaeng-Binaeng’ Set for Two Featuring Mulnaengmyeon and Bibimnaengmyeon

Ottogi has released a new product called ‘Mulnaeng-Binaeng’, a two-serving set that allows consumers to enjoy the summer staple dishes ‘Mulnaengmyeon’ (cold noodle soup) and ‘Bibimnaengmyeon’ (spicy mixed cold noodles) at once. Mulnaeng-Binaeng targets consumers who want to enjoy both types of cold noodles compactly, as well as those who find the existing four-serving sets too large, offering a suitable portion with one serving each. It consists of ‘Kimjang Dongchimi Mulnaengmyeon’ and ‘Hamheung Bibimnaengmyeon’. Kimjang Dongchimi Mulnaengmyeon uses domestically grown radish, cucumber, and pear to make its own Dongchimi broth and mustard sauce, allowing consumers to enjoy it according to their preference. Hamheung Bibimnaengmyeon features a spicy and sweet red pepper paste mixed sauce topped with tangy pickled radish, delivering a delicious flavor.
