The order of the meeting was the opening ceremony, 2-minute free speeches, ordinance proposal explanations, pros and cons debates, and voting.

The main agenda items on the day included two proposals: the "Ordinance on Allowing the Use of Mobile Phones on School Premises" and the "Ordinance on Lowering the Age Criteria for Juvenile Delinquents."

Lee Yunseo, a student from Nampyeong Middle School who served as the chairperson representing the students in the Youth Council Classroom, said, "It is more fun and easier to understand by doing it myself rather than just attending classes in the classroom," adding, "I think today's experience will be memorable."

Lee Jaenam, chairman of the Naju City Council, said, "I hope this time has been an opportunity to learn a lot while cultivating awareness as democratic citizens through healthy and proper debate processes," and added, "Today's one-day council member experience will become a valuable asset for your personal growth."

He continued, "We will continue to hold events frequently to expand opportunities for communication with students."

Meanwhile, the Naju City Council Youth Council Classroom was first operated last year, and this event is significant as it was the first held since the launch of the "second half of the 9th Naju City Council."
