On the 10th, the Usan Police Substation of Gwangsan Police Station in Gwangju Metropolitan City conducted a customized outreach promotional activity tailored to the local community’s perspective for peaceful community stability, targeting 60 neighborhood leaders at the Usan-dong Administrative Welfare Center.
At this event, Park Myung-gyu, chief of the Usan Police Substation, urged everyone to work together to prevent various disaster damages caused by the full-scale monsoon season floods and typhoons, and to actively participate in the early establishment of a mature traffic safety culture, including the prohibition of drunk (hangover) driving during the summer vacation season due to traffic safety negligence.
He especially requested greater attention and the establishment of a civilian-police cooperative security system to prevent conflicts of understanding among residents caused by recent social issues such as violent crimes related to noise between floors in apartment complexes, and to secure the golden time when emergency vehicles (hereinafter 112 patrol cars, etc.) enter, so that residents’ precious lives, bodies, and property are not harmed.
