Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will hold the ‘Norunsan Alley Market, It’s Art’ Beer Festival on the 12th at Norunsan Alley Market (Merchants Association President Shin Mi-kyung).
Norunsan Alley Market, established in the early 1970s, is a market with a long tradition, housing various types of stores and still receiving much love from local residents.
Gwangjin-gu and the Norunsan Alley Market Merchants Association organized this beer festival to further revitalize the market and attract new customers. In particular, with the recent completion of the design pavement construction, it is expected to welcome visitors with a fresher atmosphere.
The Beer Festival will be held from 5 PM to 9 PM on the 12th at the entrance of Norunsan Alley Market.
Hosted by the Merchants Association, the event will feature a variety of food, entertainment, and activities for market visitors, including ▲Nanta and violin performances ▲resident singing contests and dance competitions ▲free beer coupons and prize giveaways.
The district will also ensure thorough safety management on the day of the event by installing evacuation signs and deploying safety personnel within the festival area for smooth festival operation.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “We have prepared the ‘Norunsan Alley Market, It’s Art’ Beer Festival so that people of all ages can enjoy together,” adding, “We hope many residents visit the Norunsan Alley Market festival on the 12th to create happy memories with their families and friends.”
Starting with the Jayang Hangang Traditional Market ‘Eummak Festival’ in May this year, Gwangjin-gu has been successfully hosting unique festivals at traditional markets such as the Hwayangjeil Market ‘Hwayangyeonhwa Beer Festival,’ Myeongok Market ‘Makgeolli Festival,’ and Junggokjeil Market and Sinseong Traditional Market ‘Beer Festivals.’
Festivals are also lined up consecutively until October at Hwayangjeil Market, Yeongdonggyo Alley Market, and Jayang Traditional Market, promising a long-lasting festive atmosphere.
