Jinhae Marine Park Recognized as a Safe Tourist Facility from Crime

Re-certified as "Best Facility for Crime Prevention"

Jinhae Marine Park, operated by Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam, announced on the 10th that it has been re-certified as a tourist facility safe from crime.

Jinhae Marine Park recently held a certification plaque ceremony for being designated as an "Outstanding Crime Prevention Facility," attended by officials from the Jinhae Police Station.

The Outstanding Crime Prevention Facility Certification System is a program in which the local police station evaluates and grades facilities based on their crime prevention measures, security systems, and overall safety.

Jinhae Marine Park first received the certification in 2020, followed by a second in 2022, and now has been certified for the third time. The certification is valid for two years.

During the on-site inspection, Jinhae Marine Park received high marks for its integrated security system, emergency bells, and improvements for pedestrian safety, all aimed at preventing crime and ensuring the safety of visitors.

Kim Hyeongun, head of the Marine Park team, said, "We will continue to create a safe environment free from crime so that visitors to the marine park can enjoy their visit with greater peace of mind and comfort."
