NHN Cloud Participates in Japan GTMF for 2 Consecutive Years... Sharing App Abuse Prevention Know-How

NHN Cloud announced on the 10th that it participated in GTMF 2024 (Game Tools & Middleware Forum 2024) for the second consecutive year, sharing know-how to prevent app abusing and cheating.

GTMF is a Japanese game business conference where various game development support tools and middleware can be experienced through presentation sessions and exhibition booths. NHN Cloud participated in this event jointly with its partner, the Japanese quality assurance company iCube One.

Park Iljin, head of NHN Cloud Security Unit, gave a presentation titled "Mobile Game Application Security Developers Should Know."

Park Iljin shared statistical data and specific cases of abusing and cheating in the Japanese mobile game market and introduced methods to respond to abusing and cheating using NHN AppGuard, a mobile app protection solution. In particular, he shared useful information from a practical developer's perspective, including ▲a list of existing cheating tools, free vulnerability scanning tools, and emulators ▲the principles of cheating engines.

Park Iljin said, "Seeing more Japanese company representatives attending and attentively listening to the presentation than last year confirmed the strong interest of the Japanese market in mobile app security," adding, "Going forward, NHN Cloud will do its best to supply various solutions, including NHN AppGuard, to Japanese companies to create a safe and comfortable business environment."

Meanwhile, NHN Cloud is actively participating in numerous Japanese technology events, including this year's GTMF, expanding its business stage into the Japanese market. In June, it participated in Interop 2024 and Apps Japan 2024, Japan's representative IT exhibitions, introducing several cloud products to Japanese companies.
