"My mother couldn't evacuate because the stream near her house swelled. The electricity is out, and I can't reach her right now!"

At around 2:24 p.m. on the 9th, an urgent report from a son living in another city was received by the Gyeongnam Fire Department Headquarters.

The fire authorities were dispatched to Sangwon-ri, Anui-myeon, Hamyang-gun to rescue Ms. A, the mother of the caller, who is in her 60s.

Ms. A, who lives alone, was isolated in her house after the stream around her home overflowed due to earlier rainfall, flooding the road.

Upon arrival at the scene, the fire authorities used rescue ropes and other equipment to save Ms. A.

It is reported that Ms. A is in good health and suffered no particular issues.
