On the same day, during the first televised debate for the People Power Party's leader candidates held at TV Chosun, Han read a comment in the 'Better Malicious Comments than No Comments' segment that said, "What Han Dong-hoon is good at? Raids and being cheeky. A fame seeker just like Lee Jun-seok. Stop taking so many selfies." He replied accordingly.

He said, "I enjoy reading comments. I can't agree with all of them, but there is always something worth listening to in each." He added, "I want to be kind and a good person. I want to be kind to those who take the time to come see me."

Han also read a malicious comment saying, "Are you betraying your older brother and sister-in-law to succeed?" and responded, "Actually, I did not run in the general election," adding, "I am not doing this with any expectations." He continued, "I don't want to become anything, but I have many things I want to do," and promised, "I assure you that I will never abandon my public duties just because I want to become something."

Meanwhile, a malicious comment targeting candidate Won Hee-ryong regarding his relationship with Han, who was the emergency committee chairman during the last general election, was posted: "When were you pretending to be close and putting your arm around each other? Did you tell him to do that in Yongsan?"

Candidate Won said, "I am truly sorry about that," adding, "The result was a crushing defeat in the general election, and reflection, painful remorse, and accountability are inevitable. However, it is true that Han worked hard at that time." He emphasized, "Despite personal gratitude, party members and the party must still reflect to uphold the will of the people."

Regarding candidate Na Kyung-won, a malicious comment said she was "someone who can't speak harshly or oppose." In response, Na said, "I am not ruthless in internal party elections," but added, "However, I quietly do everything that needs to be done."

In response to another malicious comment calling her "the sparrow mill who runs in every election," she said, "Honestly, I did not want to run in this party leadership election if possible, but after this election, the Democratic Party of Korea is recklessly dominating the legislature, and such reckless dominance must be stopped in the assembly." She then stated that among the candidates for party leader, only she and candidate Yoon Sang-hyun, who both hold National Assembly badges, are suitable for the role.

Candidate Yoon responded to a comment saying, "You appeared on Kim Eo-jun's broadcast and criticized your own household. Is that fun? If you become party leader, you will ruin your household," by saying, "There is no one from our camp appearing on left-wing broadcasts," and added, "I went on the show with the intention of expanding beyond our camp."
