Dankook University Cheonung Scholarship Association Donates 220 Million Won in Scholarships

Comprised of Cheonan Campus Alumni Including Faculty, Staff, and Hospital Employees

The Cheonung Scholarship Association of Dankook University donated 220 million KRW in scholarship funds on the 9th, asking that it be used to support junior students.

The Cheonung Scholarship Association was established in 1989 by faculty, staff, hospital employees, and alumni of the Cheonan Campus of Dankook University to provide scholarships for junior students, and has donated a total of 90 million KRW to date.

The association entrusted the entire 220 million KRW in reserves, which had been managed independently, to the university, requesting that it be used as scholarships for junior students.

President Ahn Sooncheol said, "The valuable donation from our alumni will be a great support to our junior students," adding, "The university will carry on the spirit of the Cheonung Scholarship Association and continue to support students so they can pursue a brighter future."
