In response to this remark, on the 9th, Yoo shared two photos on his Facebook showing Mayor Hong bowing 90 degrees to President Yoon in 2022. The two photos Yoo posted depict Mayor Hong bowing 90 degrees to President Yoon during the Daegu Seomun Market visit, which was President Yoon's first visit after his inauguration in 2022, and at the 1st meeting of the 8th term elected provincial governors held the same year. At that time, some called him 'Kobak-Hong' (meaning 'nose-dipping Hong') because it looked like his nose was about to touch the table.

Along with these photos, Yoo criticized, "The downfall of the Yoon Suk-yeol administration is due to opportunists like Mayor Hong gaining power," and pointed out, "Even regarding former President Park Geun-hye, whom he expelled from the party, Mayor Hong repeatedly changed his stance, swallowing the sweet and spitting out the bitter."
